No. A2K is in fact 2 persons. Me and the creator of the site.
The fact is, extra medium, that you don't exist. You are a computer program, containing several possible personalities. You are one of those possibilities. When I read a topic, A2K provides me the several possibilities that the topic can offer, no matter how mad they seem.

It is like a computer game. You, and all the other "members", are electronic units in order to stimulate my imagination and increase the creativity of the game.
So, you are part of a multiple programed personality, expressing all the possible answers to a given question. Sometimes, the owner of the site decides to increase the potential of the program and creates new units ("new members"...).

In fact, there is a little secret. The owner of the site, who plays this game with me, likes to simulate he is one of the units, and sometimes he enters the discussions, gives replies ... he has even a "name", but he doesn't want me to reveal it. When we speak to each other we use a code.

So, I am one of the players and Mr. X is the other.
The fact that I am telling this is not important. It may seem weird, but the units WILL NOT BELIEVE IT. They are programed in that way.

Lola:-

The entry you seek is on Trivia and Word Games. On the ACRONYM thread page1051 4th post from top.No1394468 of 1047am June 13.

A preliminary arrangement useful at other times too.

There is a forum here in our lovely land which is dedicated to scatology, pornography and football. On this forum it is an expulsion offence to disclaim responsibility for a post on the grounds that a third party interfered with the kit.Numerous members are now non-members as a result of this rule which is one of a very short list.

Obviously we here have different ideas of what constitutes thread decorum that you do over there.
I wouldn't be surprised if the behaviour Mathos and myself have been accused of is illegal here under trade description legislation.

Look after your fingers. They are important items in the feminine arsenal.

A gentle peck to the tenderest spot on your lovely neck. x

Val:-

You sound like the headmaster of a boys school explaining to the morals and manners committee of the local authority in somewhat reassuring, not to say complacent, tones accompanied by expressions of self satisfaction that you have your pupils fully under control and are cognisant of all their activities.

This is a somewhat over ambitious claim to make I fear as it wildly underestimates the use to which language can be put and the resourcefullness of the boys.

Girls are another matter entirely.Did you go to a mixed school by any chance or to one exclusively dedicated to the education of girls.

I don't know what to say. I cannot understand your reply. It seems to be a critic. Perhaps also ironic.
The fact is I have not enough knowledge of english language to understand the subtlety of your reply.

Val:-

You have enough knowledge of the English language to suggest that we threaders are all idiots and completely under your control. All I was suggesting is that because you haven't attended a boys only school you lack the insights necessary to see that your suggestions, plausible though they may sound to others of a similar disposition to yourself, are laughable.

That I understand!
And no, you are wrong. You see, , IT WAS A JOKE. A joke in answer to what I saw as a joke - I mean Extra Medium initial thread
about the reality of the A2K characters.
In fact, that wasn't even very original because I had in mind Daniel Galouye's novel "Simulacron".

Since it was a joke, I am glad you find it laughable. I always had serious doubts about my humoristic talent.

This said, I must have a conversation with Mr. X about the programing of the units. There is one that seems too serious and aggressive. Changes must be made. Spendius, I believe that tomorrow you will be a completely different character. Laughing

Now Spendius, and hello friends of the forum,

Speaking to you Spendius, you old goat! If either myself, or any other reading member of A2K from reading capabilities upwards, were to comment on your English literature capabilities, to say nothing of your numerous spelling errors, missed spacings and general punctuation. It would create more havock than an outbreak of rabies in Battersea Dog's Home.

When your reading material expires, you may wish to enter the realms of the real world. Not playing with a leggo kit, from dawn till dusk, in between moronic boozing sessions in a town, probably Bradford at that which is renown for dishing out The Taxpayer's money in a benevolent manner under the guise of benefits.

You are no doubt familiar with every number on every application form for support, to say nothing of being in receipt of a senior citizen's pension, heating allowance, bus and rail passes, free spectacles, free medicine and all the medical clinic, hospital, and ambulance assistances for your personal comfort.

It is high time you took stock of yourself old chap, have you cleaned yourself up and had a shave since we last had discussion. One may consider it would be a simple task to drive around Bradford until you were discovered, alas, there are hundred's if not thousand's of your description in that gloomy county of ill repute.

Have you ever thought of emigrating Spendius?

Mathos- my little cock-sparrow-

Rabies in the Battersea dogs home is not my idea of "havoc".We have SWAT squads for that sort of thing and it will all be over in half an hour without having the slightest effect on property prices or the FSTSE.

And threaders comments about my faults are less "havoc" causing than the dogs home. What you needed before the word "havoc" was "considerable"
and then perhaps I wouldn't have mentioned the subject.

I did think of emigrating once I must admit. But I couldn't find anywhere that looked worth emigrating to.So I gave up the idea.It always pays to give up on useless ideas instead of stubbornly clinging on to them.

That's what I found anyway and I think I can fairly claim that I'm an ordinary everyday average sort of a chap.

Well, my policy is to never give up until I'm damned sure it's necessary and then I hang on a bit longer, just to make sure I'm not mistaken. I've come far through the use of this rule of thumb (not to be confused with a regulation) but it's not for everyone. Still I like it.

And Mathos, mr smarty pants, obsessive concern with punctuation is often an indication of impending Alzheimers......or of a dull character. I know you probably don't really care about Spendi's punctuation, you were just trying to find something to talk about. Maybe..........

We've got a tentative exchange tour penciled in where I give him a tour introducing him to many fine specimens of the exotic women of the tropics. He in turn will guide me on a journey through the West End girls, Chelsea, and the rest of the British naughties, on a cold black rainy night.

Or is that you, Mathos?

In any event, I guess one wouldn't technically call it emigrating. And more to the point: many of the women here rather like long hair and a beard. You will have to get just a bit of color on the skin, though.

I will have to find ones that fancy chains I think, for M.

1.33 here, and I should crawl to the rack, S.

My work schedule has changed a bit, and now it seems like we're only on at the same time for perhaps 10 minutes.

Which may be a good thing?

I'll go check out the Balderdash...will need to watch it for a bit first.

Chains EM ?

I rather think I may be equally if not far more familiar with the enchantment of oriental magic.
But I am always willing to learn.
