I have heard that the Dodgers are going to be hard to beat.

Astros beat the Rays yesterday. They have beaten the Astros at least a few times this year, so I don't expect them to roll over.

Verlander shockingly spit the bit last night...

They panicked when they should have stuck to the original plan, in my opinion. I knew not to write off the Rays and that the best of teams often fail.

Clayton Kershaw blew the lead for the Dodgers in Game 5 after serving up back-to-back home runs. Whatever the reason, Kershaw just cannot perform in October. He's actually a liability for the Dodgers!

I think the Astro’s got the best pitching and that (and good defense) is what’s needed (and used to win) in the WS.

The Dodgers’ season came to a stunning end at the hands of the Nationals in the National League Division Series on Wednesday, and manager Dave Roberts took a lot of heat for the short postseason run.

I didn't know this news before just now.

You are jumping to the conclusion that The Yankees have a strategy. Over numerous decadez, it tends to seem to not be the case.

After that incident a few years ago where my beloved team was in the spot of being up 3 games to O, in a best of 7 series for the AL pennant against The Red Sox, and then lost 4 in a row, I don't rule out any team or know what to expect. (and let's not forget that odd year where The Padres managed to get to the WS). Baseball, like all sports is unpredictable.


May the remaining games, whichever teams, be exciting and interesting.

I recall my confident feeling the Yanks were about to sweep the Sox that year. I am fatalistic about baseball this year, despite any posts of mine that appear to be contrary.

It won't be the Los Angeles Dodgers again, so will the St. Louis Cardinals or Washington Nationals take the NL crown? I admit I haven't paid much attention to the NL.
