@JGoldman10,
...

I'm staring to suspect you haven't read any modern comics at all, if that is what you think.

Also, I'm worried what you think are "militant groups", if you think GLAAD is one.

No one is forcing kids to be gay. The modern idea now is "accept who you are."

@Rebelofnj,
Aside from that current Flintstones comic series DC put out, no not really. I have seen some current comics put out by both DC and Marvel in the form of online scans.

I have read some indie comic strips some people posted online.

@JGoldman10,
Then why assume that "Some comics produced now advocate LGBTQIA agenda"?

Do you have an example of these comics? I know the Flintstones comic had a gay couple in one issue, but that issue talked about marriage and love in general, specifically Fred's fears about Wilma no longer loving him in the future.

@Rebelofnj,
Why include LGBTQIA characters in comics and in comics-related media in the first place?

@JGoldman10,
Why not? Are they not included in humanity?

@JGoldman10,
Because LGBT people exist in the real world, and fictional stories in general are reflections of real life and inspired/shaped by real events.

Like how in the current Batman comics, Catwoman and Batman have been debating for a few years where they first met: in a boat or on a street. The debate originated from the comic writer and his wife trying to remember where they had their first date.

Do you similar feelings to written literature, which had gay characters years before the comics ever alluded to homosexuality?

@Rebelofnj,
We also have crossdressers in the real world. Doesn't make it right.

@JGoldman10,
Let me get this straight (ha):

You asked why LGBT characters should be in comics.

I said that it is because they are part of the real world.

You responded that crossdressers are also part of the world.

I never implied that everything in the real world was right or wrong. I meant that the real world shapes the stories we tell.

Also, you never gave an example of "comics produced now [that] advocate LGBTQIA agenda".

Unless I can come up with a better name. I'd like to think there's terms used in Black slang for hair that aren't racist and/or offensive.

"Activator" would be a funny name.

To be fair, how come you never hear of any Caucasian Captains Ethnic with "White" in their names, aside from the villain White Shadow from Minoriteam?

Would most White people be offended by this?

Why is this question not being answered?

@Rebelofnj,
I think the current Archie books is one example of comics that advocate the LGBTQIA agenda.

I think this site should answer your question:

@JGoldman10,
I doubt anyone would be offended by a character named White Something, unless you are planning to address racial issues.

Plus, most creators want to use colors other than white for the characters, so that they stand out more.

@JGoldman10,
Have you actually READ the current Archie comics?

They have one gay character, Ken Keller, and he has not been heavily involved with the main story, which is still the love triangle between Archie, Betty, and Veronica. Same with the Josie & The Pussycats comics.

And that comic database doesn't answer the question at all. It just shows comics, both indie and major, with LGBT characters and themes.The

There is nothing about the comics forcing kids to be gay.

@JGoldman10,
The database lists Detective Comics Rebirth because Batwoman is a major supporting character, but her sexuality is barely addressed. Her character arc is about her confronting her father over his private army and her being a potential threat to Gotham City.

There is no mention of her ex-girlfriend Captain Sawyer at all.

@JGoldman10,
What are your feelings towards LGBT literature, which existed for years?

Annie On My Mind was written in 1982, and it features two young women in a relationship. Carol was written in 1952 with the same topic.

Both of them are not about telling people to be gay. Both books show the hardships and troubles each couple face due to the time period.

@JGoldman10,
Why is that wrong? What harm are they doing?

You seem to be doing a lot of judging. Maybe you should worry about your own failings. They don't want bigots in heaven.

I wouldn't let my kids watch a lot of cartoons and read a bunch of comics being made now if I were a parent.

Fortunately that doesn't seem likely to happen.

What is your problem with LGBT people? They're not hurting you, and there is no agenda other than accepting people for what they are.

Why do you think they're promoting an agenda, is it because you feel it's working on it? There is no agenda, and your obsession with gay people sounds very much like closeted behaviour. It would also explain why you wanted me to caress your bottom.
