That's right. Trump explicitly made the military aid conditional on Ukraine's pursuit of Hunter Biden, the son of Trump's political rival, Joe Biden. Trump's political allies are alleging that this is not an impeachable action.

Perhaps you have a reference to the source of this remarkable information that appears to directly contradict the dialogue recorded in the released report of the call with the Ukrainian President.

Oh, there is testimony more credible than the deceitfully redacted—according to testimony—released report of the call with the Ukrainian President. That's why Trump's political allies have pivoted from saying that there was no quid pro quo to saying that this quid pro quo, if it were to have occurred, is not an impeachable action.

Uh Oh! Schiff’s Staff Forgot to Redact Ciaramella’s Name From Bill Taylor’s Transcript

Quote:
Still, most large media outlets refuse to publish his name. Surprisingly, even Fox News has ordered their writers and contributors not to divulge the name claiming it hasn’t been confirmed. Others point to his status as a whistleblower who deserves protection under the whistleblower statute which I find to be ridiculous. This young man is anything but a whistleblower. He is a highly partisan Democrat who is part of a soft coup to take out the President.

Democrats want to prevent Ciaramella from testifying under oath before lawmakers, because their entire case depends on his credibility as a true whistleblower. Once the American people are presented with Ciaramella’s work history, his associations and his activities during the 2016 election and beyond, he will have zero credibility and voters will see for themselves that once again, the Democrats, rather than the Republicans, have tried to subvert the U.S. system of justice.

Hapless Democrats are hapless Democrats. Stick a fork in this travesty, it is over.

The whistleblower's attorney damaging tweets from 2017 are icing on the cake of this fraud.

@coldjoint,
The whistleblowers take on the phone call heaven simply backed up by other high in the trump maladministration. It's clearer every day it was abuse of power for purely personal gain and attempted exploitation of an ally. The whistleblowers did the country a great service and it's developed far more legs that hop attempts tribesmen him are powerless to stop. Save everyone's time. Lock trump up now.

Hardly, they have no first hand knowledge that is not an opinion. Opinions do not cut it for impeachment. You need to prepare yourself for the demise of the Democratic party. It is coming soon, along with a landslide vote.

@coldjoint,
I think the recent polls show that, nationwide, the choice FOR impeachment and removal (since it appears that the evidence is factual and verified several times over) is now about 5 or 6 percentage points over the "stick with Trump" choice. It appears that the GOP defense is now leaning more to,
"OK so he did it but thats not an impeachable crime".

I think everyone on the GOP side of pol POWER has given up that "Its a witch hunt with no evidence".

@MontereyJack,
I see the latest GOP defense is that the whistleblower was in the Biden Camp during the time Joe;s son was working on the Ukraine board.
They want that to be the issue, not

that Trump was factually engaged in an unlawful act and was then covering it up.

Now a Congressman wants to OUT" the whistleblower. According to the Whistblower Act, thats illegal also. GOPers just want to compound the events with crime over crimes.

Then they claim they are the party of God faring Merkins, what a laugh.

@farmerman,
It's about the same as a Republican getting pulled over for a broken tail light and the cop discovers that the guy's registration is expired and he's drunk as well and the driver basing his defense on the claim that the cop is a registered Democrat.

Persecuting someone over something that is not in any way a crime counts very much as a witch hunt.

It is a crime. Your denial of that fact counts for nothing.

@oralloy,
Why do you feel it's justified having a foreign government investigate an American citizen? Isn't that our job, not theirs?

Why do you feel it's justified having a foreign government taking the fall for having the DNC server when all of our Intelligence agencies have conclusively reported that Russia hacked it? Do you think Trump actually understands we're talking about information, not a physical computer?

Why do you feel it's justified for having a personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, who is not employed by the U.S. government nor has been vetted or have a Security Clearance to be "in charge" of anything related to National Security or Ukraine itself?

Investigating a Democrat when it looks like that Democrat is committing crimes is not an abuse of power.

The only abuse of power here is the Democrats using investigations as a weapon to harm people who disagree with them.
