Latin translation. Is it correct or made up?

"My views are my own - my library wouldn't want them" is certainly not
the translation.

The first part, ne indipidos tollete, is hard to translate. Indipidos is not a
Latin word. It may be a typo. The word tolle can mean raise, lift, take up
or even accept. It would depend on the context. If indipidos is a typo for
insipidos, then it means: "Do not accept tasteless things." Perhaps he
was trying to say: "Accept no substitutes".

The second part, ne captivos capite, means: "Do not capture captives".
Perhaps he is trying to say "Take no prisoners."

Just my best guess.

One further note: the negative subjunctive should
be formed by using noli + infinitive or using ne +
subjunctive, not ne + the imperative.
