My long time make friend also sex partner was together on Sunday. He had to borrow his female cousin car because his in the shop.So she needed him to pick her up.She called to give him the address.About 10 mins later she called to see if he left

He got loud said to his cousin he's trying have sex. After departing from him hour later he called had her on speaker.He says to me wasn't we having sex when she called.

I was shocked and said uh yes we were getting it in.she laughed said ok I thought he was lying.

It's not all that weird to try to save face for your partner. However, his response was juvenile and over the top. I would have been embarrassed enough to tell both of them that it's inappropriate to discuss with an outside person.

And then I would have told him to leave and not come back until he's a grown up, IF that ever happens.

To me this is the key - he was late returning the car - he wanted an excuse why he was late and the sex thing probably would embarrass his female cousin enough as an excuse especially with you confirming that the cousin wouldn't push further.

To me he sounds like someone that is probably unreliable when returning items and has been late and unreliable in the past thus the over the top excuse.
