bestfriend or crush?

So i met him a year ago and we started to get close little by little and in about a snap of a finger we became bestfriends. We always hang out and we would never ran out of stories unless for him since he is an extravert. Since i'm so fond of him I introduced him to my friends and even my family, everyone liked him, even my own friends told him things that I never even heard from them. Then the time has come and he got closer to my friends and then somehow I felt lonely again, or am I just clingy??
This is where i got my conclusion that I probably have a crush on him and guess what he knows it because I told him (yep pretty crazy thing to do right??). He is the only one that knows it(or for what i know). One more thing he has a girlfriend (lol) but trust me I support them more than my own feelings.
Since he knows about my feelings and all towards him, he would constantly tease me nonstop "what if I gave you a chance?" like wtf dude you have a girlfiend ffs, I know he was just joking but my feelings got me. This is my first time having a crush and I don't even know if it's a crush and I haven't had any relationships whatsoever, so please help me and if i just let go of this feelings and just act like his bestfriend instead???

It's cruel for him to talk about giving you chances when he is already in a relationship.

One thing I forgot to tell is he is also having some issues with his girfliend. Since he is having a long distance relationship with her, he keeps questioning if he still has feelings for her and he once told me that he is only in love with the idea of having a girlfriend and im confused. What advices should I tell him??

It's unfair for him to ask you for advice on such a topic, seeing as he knows you like him.

What are you supposed to say? Oh, go back to her? Or oh, come to you? Either you deny your feelings or you give into an obvious conflict of interest.

If he was a good friend, as good a friend as you claim, he would not be putting you into such an untenable position.

It's unfair. It's unkind. It's selfish, too, and may even be cruel.

Tell him to cut that **** out, too. You don't deserve to be toyed with like this.
