Danon - the thought of eating intelligent creatures like whales reminds me too of cannibalism, but just to be on the safe side if we do meet for dinner I'll take Stradee's advice and opt for the nearest restaurant:)

HOft, the manufacturer was the farthest thing I thought of when I placed the baby bird on the vent. What brought a smile was the name!

Hadn't thought of the baby bird in quite that context, but WOW - terrific photo of his mamma! Smile

Stradee - thanks for letting me know some manufacturer's vent is named for me, but look what your baby blackbird has named after it!

Ah, the 'Blackbird' - a great record setting airplane. I do believe that the name was given to it due to the nature of the work done with it - "Black Ops" missions. Mostly NSA and CIA jobs. But, it's all retired now.

It is a very graceful looking thing. Believe it or not - the airplane gets soooo hot while flying that the fuselage "grows" over a foot in length due to expansion.

And off she flies.

The swallows have left their nests, but are still in my area. This morning they were flying directly in front of my window, now they are high in the sky. Just little black moving dots. A sign that the weather is improving.

A great day to all.

It's a regular James Taylor day.

Marn'n all, I wish you each a happy and prosperous week. May the road rise to meet you. My the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields, and, until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
