In the sixties we had magic or lucky rabbit feet. When I got my first one a purple foot. I hoped to go see Easy Rider. So I could catch up with the cool guys and got to go with my sister that very day. But at the cinema she would not sit with me.
When the movie was over and we met outside she said I hope you never get involved with bike riding..... it's just too dangerous. Years later when the film resurfaced again I was riding a Yamaha. I was going down to see the picture in Bangor or Waterville and almost lost my life while thinking Easy Rider clips . I returned home and never rode again. What is your story?

Not me. I had plenty of wishes and desires, but carrying around a dead piece of an animal always seemed yukky to me. Never had one.
Surely someone else did, though...?

I think it worth pondering that having 4 rabbit's feet doesn't seem to have brought much good fortune to the rabbit who's feet became luck charms ---

I once had a purple one, then a pink one. Both were stolen by my cat and when I tried to reclaim them I got growled and hissed at. I believe I buried them with him when he died of kidney failure many years ago. I would have to conclude that they must not have been very lucky.

Hey I should check google and see who's still selling them but that would be too obvious at this point. I remember the claws on mine were pretty sharp.I am afraid I too lost faith in them several times.But can the rabbit foot survive?Maybe this thread was to eventually become it's lifeform ???
