I can’t recall any members who live there. Not to say that there aren’t any or there aren’t some with family there.

The problem there now is that so far 16 inches of rain has fallen in the area recently. This makes a bad situation far worse as they’re predicting another 9 inches and high winds to occur.

Selfish as I am, I’m watching from afar in our home NY’s mid-Hudson valley. We’re Snowbirds and our winter home is on FL west coast so we’re ok there too. It’s been a rainy and hot FL summer so the ground is pretty saturated.

Of course with the weather forecast uncertainties for the next 24 to 48 hours, there is a distinct possibility that the west coast of Florida may get a whole lot of rain not to mention tropical force winds.

Hurricanes, one of many reasons I don't dwell in Florida or any spot directly on an ocean.

(and a few blocks up from the local apparently rising river)

Hopefully,it'll make a sharp turn and head out to sea.

Blizzards are nicer.

To folks in the Gulf (of Mexico) region, how are you holding up there with Tropical storm Imelda?
News reports indicate severe flooding, some worse than hurricane Harvey had.
