`daisy-chaining' is where teenagers invite each other around for sex,is putting teenagers sexual health at risk, spreading STIs etc.
Doctors in the UK are increasingly worried about this practise and have warned that fertility etc could be harmed.
Do you mean teenagers below age 16?
What a horrid term, 'daisy chaining'.
What happened to meeting someone ,getting to know them then asking them to be your boy/girlfriend??!!
I think there are plenty of adults that do exactly the same(spreading sti's etc), I think they should be targeted too.
I hate the idea of young teenagers having sex, I dont think people should do it til they are about 25.
There is a general feeling in the air that its 'cool' to be having sex at a young age, sadly kids buy into this image.
There was a report in the paper the other day about a 10 year old going on the pill.
The 10 year old could have been going onthe pill because of painful periods but the way it was written was that 'isnt it terrible that this child is having sex'.(which I agree with if she was, what happened to enjoying childhood)
I can see that teens having sex at such a young age is a cause for concern but the fact that they are 'sensible 'enough to use a form of contraception, such as the pill, is good.
I think the need to promote the use of condoms should be dealt with.
I also think there isnt much for teenagers to enjoy in life.
If they had more to do they may not have time for girl/boyfriends
I also read about 10 year old girls on the PILL,its seems sexual activity is starting younger and younger these days.
But my point is, are they taking it because they are sexually active!!??
You can go on the pill coz of painful periods or to regulate them.
I dont think its fair to assume its because youngsters are sexually active.
Sex at 10, Jesus!!How f***ed up would any male/female 10 year old have to be to want to have sex!!
If guys could go on the PILL could yuo imagine how young theyd start taking it!!
If I remember correctly, the 10 year old was doing it with some 13 years old!
She was asked by her doctor if she knew about the emotical consequences, she said she understand.
Yucky yucky yuck yuck!!!10 and 13!!!!
Seems to me like there is too much outside influence.Friends getting together in the playground and talking about sex.How many young teens talk about emotions?
There needs to be more talk from parents to their children before they even think about doing anyting physical.
I think at 10/13 the physical side would freak me out more then the emotional side!!
I think I have got that right, material Girl.
I also think I read something somewhere about 7 years olds.
Stop right there, Im gona puke.
There is one family where all the girls aged 12,14 and 16 have a child.
The 12 year old was doing it when she was 11.
Ive seen that on the news!!Christ!! i dont think I even knew about sex at 11, let alone want to do it.
I reckon those girls and others, feel seriously insecure and the only way to get guys to like them is to sleep with them.
I think the fathers of the babies have no involvement with the kids, tho I dont know if thats their decision or it was decided or them.
The mums of those girls is right that if she didnt allow her daughter to do it at home they would have done it anyway.
BUT they must have had sex education at school. The basics say, THE SPERM HITS THE EGG and THATS HOW BABIES ARE MADE, they cant tell me that they didnt know what would happen.
CONTRACEPTION needs to be drummed into all sexually active people(not just teenagers).
The mother was blaming sex education at school.
Yep,thats so funny!!Isnt she allowed to talk to her kids about it!!
Its tough coz if you tell kids about sex/contraception at any age its almost like saying its ok to actually do it, but then if you dont tell them they are going to find out about it in another way.
I can just imagine the converstaion after the first one got pregnant-
youngest pregnant girl-I dont understand it,I had sex but I didnt think you can get pregnant by having sex!!
2nd sister-no you cant, its an old wives tale
3rd sister-yeah
Its a bit like the Australian Aborigines, believed that a woman got pregnant when a spirit entered her or something like that.
Or like a woman saying an angel came down and told her she would become 'with child' and she will call it Jesus and it will be the son of God...oooh, contraversial!!

At 13 getting felt up was a BIG deal. Sex didn't really enter the picture till at least 15 and even then it was scary.
Exactly, from a girls point of view having a testosterone filled guy climbing on top of you with a long hard pointy thing that he is gona try to put in a little hole is not the most appealing of things!!!
Maybe im a slow starter (and Im glad of it)I wasnt even kissed til I was 17!! I still find sex very freaky.
