anyone here knows the english equivalent for 'to lead and to be led' in both latin and french? your help would be very much appreciated..thanks!

In French, lead and to be led, conveys no special meaning : "mener et être mené".
But if you quote Abbé Sieyes, that could be fine : "Je suis leur chef, donc je les suis".
You know, that Abbé Sieyes, he was rather a naughty man, helping Napoleon like that . . .

it isn't "to lead and to be led" but "to lead and to serve"..

latin--Ducere et ????
