Don't try to be someone you are not. Be yourself, and don't expect too much from the poor kid, let him be himself.

Real life has many more undignified moments than Romance in Movie Land. Be prepared to listen and to laugh together.

A first date means you're going to get to know each other better--not instant passion.

hiya it was really cool, everything went great, i turned up late, but luckily he arrived just after me. He's so nice and we're actually meeting next weekend too! thanks for all the advice, being a young teen its great to talk to people who have gone through what i'm going through!
