you have a choice:

lake of stars = lacus stellae

starry lake = lacus stellifer
= lacus stelliger
= lacus stellans

Even if the English <is> available I prefer the Latin! I studied Latin for four years many long yearsago, and was in the conveet for ten years, so I was knew "stella" and was fairly sure of "Lacus," but I had no idea of the proper---case???---they should take.
