Avoid eating hot soup in bed. If you spill it on yourself, you can get a 2nd degree burn on your thighs, etc. Nasty!

I like to rub myself down with butter and bread crumbs and run down the street as "crazy toast-man."

Other than that, my dietary habits are normal.

Slappy - mixing that with the comment in another thread of you yelling at traffic - pretty funny.

Not nearly as funny as "crazy naked hot dog guy". That one got me rolling.

I am not New Haven. Smile I have an imposter over at Abuzz and NH is my avatar-imposter here at A2k.

Eating habits are odd and differ so much. Generally I eat the cold things last so that the warm things do not get cold. I like to mix it up and eat things a little at a time.

Like Osso I cannot eat and talk nor can I listen and eat so I am always, always the last one done. I usually drink a diet coke, coffee, or water with my meals. But it depends on the food. For instance I never drink anything while eating Indian because I do not want to interfere with the taste and after Indian food I always want dark chocolate. I love to eating chocolate with my coffee.

Some times I choose not to eat a regular meal for example. I like popcorn and red licorice for dinner or I will go all day with out eating and then put down and pint of Jamoca Almond Fudge for dinner. Often I eat celery with peanut butter sticks and raw carrots and turnips.

Generally I take small meals through out the day. Breakfast is a meal I cannot tolerate and I rarely eat before 1:00 p.m., except coffee of course.

Because I live alone - I have a room mate but we eat separately I tend to eat what ever I want when ever I want. Then there are the days I do not eat at all, yes sometimes if I am engaged in something interesting I forget to eat.

Little K, the comment about the guy yelling at traffic was only half a joke.

It's not me, but there really is this old guy in Brighton that yells at nothing.

Or maybe, it is me?

Joanne
I remember the days where I'd forget to eat, but those days are long gone. Too much time at home I suppose.

I like food that feels funny in your mouth like caviar for example. It is very important for me that food as an interesting texture.

I take apart food that's in layers - things like cake, chocolate bars etc. I may eat the cholocate cover first then the inside.

I like to look at my food when I am eating. I don't just put something on the fork and shove into my mouth. I usually look at it. Of course, I am a slow eater...

When I lived in Boston there was a guy who hung out in front of the 7/11 on Beacon street continuously yelling "Can you SPARE any change?". Was that you, Slappy?

Slappy:

There's a guy with an anti-abortion sign, who parades every morning in front of the Huntington entrance to the BWH. He's always yelling stuff too.
