Considering your last post...YOU obviously have. Or you would not have written what you wrote.

Anyway...hope you had a good Thanksgiving, FM. I ate until I was ready to explode...and after the crowd left, Nancy and I visited friends for a dessert get together...and I ate some more.

I did explode, sorta, by that was this morning in the "library."

Why is the god of the gaps approach so appealing? It's been shot down and shown as fallacious for years now, but people seem to keep blundering into it.

You are apparently incapable of recognizing that I was just telling you that the 'God of the gaps' had nothing to do with my beliefs.

In simple terms for you: No, I don't believe in a God because of gaps in the evolutionary record. Good night FBM.

Why did you even mention it, then? What was the point in mentioning gaps if you weren't trying to undermine the theory and wedge/weasel the possibility of divine intervention in there somewhere? I'm not saying your entire argument pivots on the gaps, but you seem to simultaneously imply that they leave room for your god, but that you'll cling to your faith regardless. Looks like weasling to me. Good night.
