That you don't even know when you ask a direct question about god only proves you're more stupid than I thought. That's a good possibility based on your posts.

Now we are on the "you are stupid, Frank" track. I knew we would get here soon.

You are no longer making sense...but I am here for you, ci. I'll stick with you until you get things back under control...and actually ask a coherent question or make a coherent accusation.

I'm here for ya!

There ya go! The "ha ha ha" was a good beginning. But the "...another bull **** assumption" kinda messed it up.

@Frank Apisa,
The revealed God exists as long as people believe in It's existence and Its precepts. The effects of It can be observed just as the effects of electrons can be observed despite them remaining unseeable and unknowable.

They are not little Xs chalked on a chalk circle on a blackboard.

That there are other revealed Gods is the cause of the differences in the arts and living arrangements (and sports) in the various societies we know of. What you see and what you do is a direct consequence of the revealed God of Christianity. All day long. Dreamtime too.

Whether an actual God exists is the concern of people with nothing interesting to talk about.

Thank you for sharing that with me, Spendius.

You know, it really is possible the moon is made of orange juice.

And I'm going to keep on saying it because it makes me feel smugly superior that no one else will agree, but I'm right. All I have to do is repeat it regularly because it is semantically, philosophically correct. It doesn't add anything to the conversation but it is right.

And when you idiots continue to disagree with me I'll whip out an intellectual weapon from my vast arsenal, like, 'prove it isn't' or 'whatever' - you blind fools are no match for my stupendous insights. I pity you your ignorant existences.

Muhahahaha.

Of course it is a plan. It is designed, like your idiotic exchanges with ci., to render the thread, with its going on half a million views, unreadable and thus my series of posts, which present a view nobody ever seems to have allowed themselves to be exposed to before, less influential than it might be.

It won't work.

I notice you are going through that familiar routine with ci. The "I'm here for ya--I'll stick with it until you're better, ---thanks for the laughs---I'm loving it---best laugh since the last laugh---you're entertaining" bullshit. What happened to the "I love ya" and the "are you obsessed with me" and the "I'm not musical you should know" gnat's piss.

Gotta mirror? For when the timezones don't match.

PS also for those times when you and spendi engage in mutual fellatio - eeeeugh, I'll have to leave the room. Give a guy some warning for Pete's sake - hang something on the door handle or 'whatever'.

You do have a great imagination, H.

If you "think" that is what is happening...consider yourself warned, because that is what is gonna be happening.

It's funny, I was just thinking, courtesy of a post of yours on Edgar's shutdown thread, that that is exactly how you often operate.

I have. You have a technique with words in emergencies. I gave the general drift of it in my last post.

@Frank Apisa,
What hinge doesn't seem to know is that every moment in his life is conditional upon a religious system that he disapproves of for purely personal reasons.

If he was dependent upon a system he approves of he would be a great deal more pissed off with life than he is now. Getting his message over with smoke signals, drum beats or pony express would not suit his communication style at all.

There are "religious systems" in almost every country on this planet. What exactly is your point?

Nobody is "pissed" off with life, although you seem to be. Your daily trip to the local pub seems you require some mind-settling for every day. Drunk Drunk Drunk Drunk Drunk Mr. Green

I'm not surprised puny human! Wink

Have you seen the story floating around about the new beer that has moon dust in it? For a second the headline made me think I was going to modify my 'moon is possibly made of orange juice' theory. Whew!

It's a scientific point so you can't be expected to understand it.

According to Carl Sagan...ALL beer is made of "star stuff"...in fact, according to Carl Sagan, everything is made of "star stuff."

He may be correct.

If he is...then ALL beer is made of "star stuff"...and some of it may have gone through a moon or orange juice stage before becoming beer.

So you MAY be correct...I think.

"Academic Freedom" to "Teach rhe Controversy" about the scientific sense of ID is all the rage right niw. Nowhere is there any guarantee f anything called academic freedom for teachers to try to subvert the scientific method by teaching such clearly religious based concepts.
(These concepts are derived from the beliefs of a small minority of Christian sects).
SO, in order to set it right, state legislatures are wasting time trying to come up with ACademiC Standards for the schools in their states.
That, in turn , will lead to a series of law suits in the various states wherein those Chritians feel denied of their religious freedoms.
SO, its now become nicely circular.
1. The IDers deny that their "Untestable, unfalsifiable logic base (Hint: We call it faith, period) is religiously bsed. They lean on an "Undefined Creator who is definitely not the God of Abraham)

2. BUT, when threatened with academic standards that insist that such a "controversy does NOT exist in science", they immediately threaten us with lawsuits that deny them "Academic Freedom"

Frank would feel comfortable with that logic
