eBay won't let me use remaining gift card balance

Truly, that sucks. I congratulate myself for never having bought a gift card in my life - mostly because you can't look at one and tell what it's worth, though.

Ebay is a bloody sod to contact, I ended up having to post a recorded letter to their headquarters in Geneva to get someone to talk to me.
