Hi folks. I would like to know if questions like: "Would you mind if you went home?", "Would you mind if you shut up?" and "Would you mind if you typed this letter for me?" sound strange for a native speaker. Moreover, I would like to know if they are grammatically correct.
Help me, please.

In each of the sentences, you should substitute the gerund:

"Would you mind going home?"
"Would you mind shutting up?"
"Would you mind typing this letter for me?"

The are sufficiently correct to be commonly used forms in speech. I can see no objection to them, if you have substituted the gerund.
