Women who have both ovaries removed have double the chance of developing Parkinson' disease.

Removal of the uterus and hysterectomies may also increase the risk.

Oestrogen may protect brain during ageing.

Ewww it's creepy. A woman must feel a lot better when the ugly looking things are removed. I know I like the thoughts of them NOT being in there a lot better than when they are. Hinders the mental process, the fantasy of it all. If you know what I mean.

Doesn't your risk of cervical cancer all but disappear when you have a hysterectomy? I'd take that statistic along with the increased risk of Parkinson's...
