How do I write University of the Cumberlands in Latin
Ave Presoff,
Cumbria is the latin for Cumberland so ...
Academia Cumbriarum
... means the University of the Cumberlands (note the plural)
if you had wanted to use the singular, (ie University of Cumberland) you would render it as ...
Academia Cumbriae
I am not sure as to what the adjective of Cumbria is so I will render it as
Academia Cumbriensis
this translates to Cumberland University
Note: some use universitas for university
hope this helps
Vale!
