ive only had a few shots of deprovera and it might seem a dumb question to ask as i know it plays about with ur hormones but does it do so more when u are drinking..i find that im not really myself.
Depoprovera is a medication that is most often used for birthcontrol. It is sometimes used by transexuals as an antandrogen, testoserone inhibitor. It can give you symptoms of pregnancy, sore, swellen breasts, possible bloating and of course the usual mood swings that go with pregnancy.
It did with me for the six months I used it. I looked and felt like I was six months along. I had depression, backache, tired easily, morning sickness, couldn't drink coffee and my moods were at warp speed, richocheting all over the place. Poor Sam had to deal with it daily and did so like a true partner, taking it in stride.
Each individual is diffferent and their bodies react differently to different medications. Sometimes drugs are adversely affected by alchohol. Others aren't. I'd talk to the prescribing doctor to see if there is something that isn't commonly shown in the patient info sheets that go with the prescription. I didn't find any contraindications with alcohol for it, but it could be like my reaction to coffee.
