To say

hi people...

If ur friends told u that u were involved in something that happen (whatever was the level of its importance), how do u act first (choose one of the below options) and why?
1-To say : I did not do it , then to explain that things happened as follows.
2-To explain how things happened and then to say no I did not do it.
