When you lose weight, extreme weight loss. Is the only way to shrink the skin is surgery? I would prefer not to have surgery. I have heard that it would be the only way for the skin to shrink back down? Is that right??

There are lots of variables here: your age, the amount of weight you lose, the flexibility of your skin, the amount of muscle that you build.....

There is no one-size-fits-all answer.

Chances are the only way to eliminate that extra skin is to have it removed. But it depends on how long you were heavy, your age and the elasticity of your skin. Working out won't tighten your skin. It might fill it out a bit with muscle but I am sure that the areas you are most concerned about are your waist, hips and thighs.

Congratulations on losing weight! It's a tough road and you're making it! Very Happy
