Osso, that's wonderful. I remember that you wanted to move there. Is Pacco(?) still with you? That's his photo in your avatar, right?

Jack (my Border Collie) just turned 8. He's getting whiter around his nose, but he still has a ton of energy!! We entered some Rally Obedience trials this year, just for fun.

No, I lost Pacco this June. Waaaah.

Still, I like to see his photo in the avatar, so I keep it there.

Jack with a whitening nose... awwwwww.

Oh, it's so hard to see them go. I wish they could have the same lifespan that we have. I know I'll be devastated when my Jack goes.

Sending you a hug.... ( ( ( ( Osso ) ) ) )

There's a gift shop near to the office, and I usually go walking during my lunch break. They have 2 Corgi's, and one-or-the-other will usually be sprawled by the front door to the shop.

My daughter's boyfriend has it in his mind that he wants a Samoyed. Not right now, but some time in the future.

I think a Diane favorite was a Samoyed, or part Samoyed. (or maybe I'm confused..
Two corgis, double trouble! No, I mean double darlings.

Roberta!!!!

I was just getting ready to turn off this office computer and head home. I'm so glad to see your name!!

I'm doing great. Life is good. I've worked here for 20 years, so my bosses gave me a 20-yr gift... a trip to Banff, Canada. I was there for 5 days in June. I stayed at a lovely Bed & Breakfast, and wandered all over the Canadian Rockies. Saw some grizzly bears, which was way cool. Had to dodge all the mountain sheep on the roads... LOL...

How about you? Are you still working for the Publishers? Still living in the same place?

One of my favorite photos is the one taken at the restaurant, with you, Patty, Jean, Susan, Phyllis.

It's time to drive home.... I still listen to audio books while driving back and forth to work. We can download audio books from the county library and transfer them to an MP3 player. It's awesome....

Hey, ehBeth!!

How's everything in Canada? I had such a wonderful visit to Banff. I love Canada!!

Remind Cleo that I was the lady who was holding her leash when we were hiking in the Catskills. She was such a lovely lady and a pleasure to be with on a hike.

Give both Bailey and Cleo a special hug and kiss from me!!!

I had my field cleared this summer. It had been a horse pasture, but I had allowed it to become totally overgrown with blackberries. There were tree stumps under the blackberries. It was a mess. I had a logger come out to pull the stumps and he graded the whole field. I planted grass seed, and now it's sooo nice. The dogs love it!!

I got a John Deere to mow the field... LOL... I love riding my John Deere!!!

If Bailey and Cleo come to Washington State, they can run in the field.... "build it and they will come"..... LOL...

Oh my gosh! This is wonderful, hearing from you and remembering the great times we had. I think one of the last things I remember you talking about was getting your gorgeous hair cut and donating it to be made into wigs for women with cancer. Have you grown it back?

It would be such a treat if you could make it to Albuquerque. There is actually some talk about having an a2k gathering here next year, although I haven't been paying much attention lately--I do hope it happens.

Please come back to visit. Do you have a computer at home yet or are you still bound by your work computer?

WOW!

Hi Lady!!!

A trip to Albuquerque sounds wonderful.... I'd love to see you again!!!

I donated my hair to Locks of Love, and they didn't even send me a "thank you".... LOL... I don't think they liked my "old lady" hair!!! I'm keeping it around shoulder-length now.

I don't know if I told you that I moved further up the mountain??? I bought a beautiful 5-acre property with a funky old house. I moved up here about 4 years ago. I have a DSL line here!!! (Dial-Up was the only thing available at the previous house, so I was doing most of my internet browsing from the office.) So, I am now the proud owner of a laptop. I take it with me everywhere I go.... LOL...

I love it here. I'm totally surrounded by woods. I can't see another house. We have lots of deer and elk, and a few weeks ago I saw a cougar. I keep my dogs in the house at night so the cougar won't eat them for a midnight snack!!!

I joined the local Grange, and have become friends with some of the old-time farmers in this area. Our Grange is active in community services, and we participate in all the local activities.

OhMyGosh, I still have a photo of you from Maine. You were wearing that t-shirt that had the picture of the sexy lady on the front and back.... LOL... I remember uploading it to an internet photo site (Webshots?maybe) and they classified my album as "x-rated".... LOL...

You'll have to check with GreenWitch.

Turns out we were just a few miles from her place on this adventure.

I don't recall any dead cats, but I might have been distracted by the busload of Korean folks who came up to the mountain, with candies and booze and booze-filled chocolates, to celebrate something.
