Hello first of all, I am Dennis m/22/Ireland. Anyways I have read a book on languages abroad and surfed the net to read more and discovered that French is spoken in Argentina, can anyone shed more light on this, had tried various search engines but to no avail.

yes, during the 19 th century, a desease destroyed cows. So because there were not enough to eat in France and Argentina needs farmers, some french decide to go over there. But I'me not sure they still speak French - we call them the Gaucho.

I dont' know if you speak french : a book as been writen on them.
