How would you sum up the main idea of this.....what is Voltaire trying to get across? How does he view Human Nature? View the world? What themes does he expand on? How would you sum up what Voltaire is trying to say?

I know that Voltair has a few points such as:

~the smaller the gov. the better. The larger it is the more corruption.
+a good gov. wuld have clear laws, fair laws that apply equally to everyone
+ to allow people to be as free (will and liberty) as possible.
+ rejects capitalism, compition

~Shows human nature as pesimistic- but that humans have "hope"

~Humans bring corruption into the natural world. But yet, humans are only a small part of the natural world.
