Great to see you again, wordworker!!! It's been waaaayyy too long!!!

Son has decided on the Law School he'll be attending this fall and daughter has decided on the college she'll be going to . She wants to be an illustrator and is being encouraged strongly to follow that path by her art teachers. Have spent time during the past couple of weeks getting that all squared away.

Only other real news I have is that my old vacuum died and I get my new one on Thursday morning...
I know, I know. You're all jealous re the vacuum...Sorry. Laughing

Great news about your pack, and the vaccuum, Matrix.

When I got my first vaccuum after graduating from university, I had a small dinner party - friends came over and test-drove the vaccuum. They were impressed that I'd become so grown-up.

Okay,,, I've forgotten how to snag a quote and embed it in my post. (OUCH)

Firsties first: Matrix, good to see you too, m.f! Vacuum problems seem to abound around the vernal equinox. You are the 2nd person to mention this to me. Laughing Thanks for the quick update on the kids. Busy mom, busy kids. Good goin', C.

ehBeth: Glad to be the subject of your 'sighting.' I wuz wearin' my Canadian made Waldies (rubber clogs) in your honor.

This 42 acres that the Rainforesters are 'tending,' is pretty impressive! I like the fact that we are up 20% since January.

Miss all of you...good to see the newbies and the seasoned clickers, one and all.

It's a toasty-roast here in the CA desert: 91F right now. Wildflowers are still doin' their thang from our very ample rains. Mt. San Jacinto peers down on us, from 10,000+feet, though the visible snow is fading fast. Arroyos are rushing with the runoff, and the weekends bring many families to play in the chilly water.

Blessings are everywhere.

My love to you all.

good to see you, wispy wonder!

I'm still waiting for my first spring flowers to open. I'm pretty sure the gold and burgundy striped crocus will be first. <tap tap tap>

Wordwhacker!! To use the "quote" feature, just click on QUOTE in the upper right hand corner of the post you wish to quote. That will open a "post reply" dialog box with the quote already in place. Now you can type above the quote, below the quote or even within the quote to, say, highlight a particular sentence you wish to stress, or even delete parts of the quote. Does that help?
