Stradee, I know what you mean re the growth outdoors - I am beginning to feel like a living Stephen King novel here, and, am dreaming of a figure with weed whacker arms and hands.

Can't wait for the Antarctic photos.

All clicked and saved another tree. Or, - giggling stream of crystal clear water. Or, - one tribe of tiny people from extinction.

'Morning, all. A conundrum: I just went to the site to click for the rain forest and was told "Thank you. You have already clicked today." I don't recall doing so. Is my memory going, or is there a glitch?

Morning all,

Cricked..................

Hi MA, That is strange. Try bringing up the clicking page again and click the rian froest icon without signing in. If that doesn't work - bring up the clicking page - wait 60 seconds - then click. If that works/or doesn't work - sign in and try clicking. If that doesn't work - sign in, wait 60 seconds - then click. If that doesn't work - your memory's gone and there is a glitch in the site.

grin

<<I've always loved that word - conundrum - but have been totally confused by it. I don't really know if I should live in it - or, wear it.
nuther grin.>>

Sounds like a conundrum all right, or maybe just a snare.

I clicked but I always click as a wild & free clicker since I get bolluxed up with passwords, et alia.

Didn't get to the robot gardener site yet, but I will. I could use one.

Merry, have you tried signing in at care2 after clicking the link from the rainforest treads opening paragraph, then adding the page to your favorites? I've added both accounts <at two browser sites> and elliminated the sign-in each day. If that doesn't work, care2's divits misfiring.

Danon,
I've a conundrum, but can't remember what. <grin>

Stradee, a bit 'o trivia= R2D2 (from Star Wars) was named after a trip to get some movie info for the director. It's short for Reel Two, Dialog Two.

That used to happen frequently to me, and I was puzzled and exasperated. So I analyzed my clicking pattern and realized that I often *double*-clicked (a remnant of my old Macintosh days). Now I'm very careful to do only a single click, and that fickle phenom hasn't happened since.

That may not be the trouble causer, but it seems to be working for me.

Whhowee boy! An Aa sighting- that makes my day.

A heads up to a possible pinch-clicker. I'm headed to Malta from April 9-21. And Aa- I still know all your passwords by heart!.

Hmmm. Interesting advice from Aa. I'll have to be more cognizant of my finger twitches when clicking. Could it be . . .?

Straddee, I've had the Care2 link among my favorites forever. I hardly go that way any more; I just turn to page one of this thread after coming into A2K. This morning I tried it both ways after being rebuffed the first time. Same result.

Dannon -- sign in? I don't know if I even remember how to do that anymore! I've ben going the directs route, either through 'my favorites' or through this thread, for so long that I've plumb forgotten my password. Maybe ehBeth knows what it is; she's clicked for me a few times. So have you, old buddy, last summer all summer long. Point is, I've never needed it since the original sign- in cupple years ago.

Dan, did ya know what planet r2d2 from? Welllllllll, a lovely planet called Naboo near the boarder of the Outer Territories! Yep
Remember the Gungans? The amphibian inuits? Both humans and Gungans lived peacefully on Naboo <only the Gungans reside in settlements of underwater cities in hydrostatic bubbles <where we'll all be residing if global warming continues - but that's another subject>

Naboo ~
