Well if you didnt read my previous thread just a little quick info. Me and my gf of about 11 months had a fight blah blah blah and she said she wants some time to herself or whatever while I told her I still felt very strongly for her. So after ignoring me for a week or so we finally have lunch today and we completely hit it off. Like we first met or something. Anyways she was telling me she has mixed feelings and that she loves me and all this crap. And so we pull up to my house and she's like I have to get going. While she's saying this she's holding back tears and all this stuff. And I'm like why is this so hard for you if you're getting what you want? Then the tears really start coming and she tells me that she wants to be with me but that she wants to be by herself too. Girl is driving me crazy and insane at the same time. I'm hoping it will equal itself out and I'll be normal. But that's probably a stretch. What in the hell is wrong with you females? Oh and no, I haven't been turned gay. Yet.

...not that there's anything wrong with that. (<-- seinfeld owns)

Men have, of course, been asking this same question since they first realized that these cuddly adorable things they couldn't live without were irrational, expensive and quite often impossible to live with.

Dude, she's not really into you. Accept it.

If she met another guy who she REALLY liked, she'd be all over it. She probably just doesn't like the idea of dumping you.

The name of the game is, c-o-n-f-l-i-c-t. She is ambivalent about you, and that ambivalence is causing her to exhibit some quirky behavior. Why don't you leave her alone for awhile, and let her sort things out?

I think she's scared to let you go, because she's not sure she can snag the guy she has planned as your successor.

Don't hang around for her to sort that out.

Move on. Forget her. Don't be "her friend"--because other girls will watch her string you along--and they'll do the same thing.

Nip it.

No calls. No smiles across rooms. No kind talk about her to other people. Don't let her name pass from your lips again.

What did you think was going to happen when you arrived at your house. Remember the last time she was there? You kicked her out and told her not to come back. Did you really expect that she would want to re-enter your house and probably make mad passionate love to you?

What do you mean by telling her, "you're getting what you want." What exactly is she getting and how do you know she wanted it?

Well that was a sort of a fight that was gotten over. And she said that when we hadn't talked for awhile she realized that her life was in some kind of disarray and that she needed to "figure things out." She was crying because she said she had mixed feelings because she "wants to be with me, but wants to be with herself too." She wants to "take a break," and so when we pulled up to my house(she was out on lunch, i wasnt expecting to rush up to my room and have hot sex...well with another person at least) it was probably the last time we will see each other. All in a short span of time she laughed, cried, smiled and frowned. The reason why I put in that she said she "had to get going" was because she had started to cry and didn't want to be near me, although she had professed her feelings. All in all we've grown completely apart from the last month and I just thought it was strange that she was acting this way. It didn't go down how I expected it to I guess. I suppose I was expecting her to either be firm in one way or another. And she did neither. Go figure.
