I am so sorry to hear that, Bill, and I hope for your sake that you'll
be able to leave everything behind without any financial woes.

As Wandel said, you're an honest, hardworking, and likable person,
you'll bounce back in no time. This was a good experience for you
and I am certain you would have not liked to miss out on it, despite
the outcome.

Life's lessons are costly but they also enable us to emerge from it
much stronger and better.

Good luck to you! Smile

I'll echo Calamity Jane, and, to her comment about it being good experience, add that the painful elements will diminish in relation to the good memories of the restaurants. I'm not really sorry now about some of my adventures that didn't turn out... well, I'm not, all this time later... but remind me not to open a third art gallery.

Carry on, and ((((((Hugs)))))).

And, don't even think about leaving town without letting us throw you a bon voyage!

Life's an adventure, Bill. Some chapters suck and others put us on top of the world for awhile. But, you already know that. I know you put your heart and soul into making it work, and I also know that you'll rebound and put yourself into another effort with the same passion someday.

Good luck with the legal issues, sorry you took it in the eye. Now I know why you were getting all those boob shots. They were just trying to cheer you up!

Lot's of net 30's stretched to net 60's so there's some extra financial woes... but whatever. Never having been a member of the quick tap club, I didn't throw in the towel until it was clear I had to. I'll have, and already have no trouble concentrating on the good times over the bad. I am a gambler by nature, and sometimes you lose. Were I not prepared to deal with that mentally, I wouldn't have played in the first place. Though, all things being equal, I'd have rather gone to Costa Rica with the dough! Cool

No third restaurant for me, either, Osso. Live and learn... and I guess it's true that the older you get; the less you know... and at this rate I should be a complete retard by the time I'm ready to retire. Laughing

Thanks you guys for your kind words and thoughts.

Bill- I am convinced that you will bounce back like a rubber ball. You have the right stuff, and you WILL make it. Bet you know a lot about a lot of things that you didn't know before you started that venture. That will stand you in good stead in whatever else you decide to do.

Onwards and upwards!

No worries Montana, Thomas, Phoenix... sh!t happens.<shrugs> This isn't the first time I fell face down and may not be the last and I'll certainly do more stupid things. I'd rather fail than wonder what if? Thanks for caring.
You must have been a cheerleader, eh, Phoenix?

Seriously, I think you'd make one hell of a marketing consultant, Bill.

Think of all the money you could make preventing others from making your mistakes. Laughing

Well, hey, it's worked for me!
