All hail the arrival of the NBA's next superstar...Mr James

You are so right. I hadn't caught much of his act until these playoffs, but the boy is something estra special.

Tomorrow night is going to be great. Two elimination game sixes on a Friday night? Region, you can't miss that! Especially the Mavs/Spurs game. That series has been just one great play after another so far.

I believe (unfortunately) the Mavs are gonna finish the Spurs off and finally end their playoff woes once and for all.

As for the Pistons/Cavs series this is an interesting one b/c I don't think anybody could've seen this one coming where Cavs have a 3-2 series lead. The Pistons has been in this situation with the Heat before. It was different though b/c we all know Heat is a good team and it was possible for them to take the series lead and the series itself. We all know what happened last year where Pistons are in a tight situation and whenever they are they seemed to find a way to get out of the pressure.

I know Cavs are a different team and this year Pistons are in a similar situation. Unfortunately I think Pistons can get out of this jam and repeat what they did to the Heat. Honestly sayin though I hope I'm wrong and with the rise of a superstar studded player LeBron James I hope his team and himself can finish off the Pistons for good and make R. Wallace eat his words.

Well, it looks like the league has decided to stack the deck against the Mavs. What a f*cking joke this is.

Dallas' Jason Terry Suspended for Game 6
NEW YORK, May 18 - Jason Terry of the Dallas Mavericks has been suspended one game without pay for punching San Antonio's Michael Finley, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Senior Vice President Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred with 3.4 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter of the Mavericks 98-97 loss to the Spurs last night at AT&T Center. Terry will serve his suspension Friday night as the Mavericks host the Spurs for Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

The guy is there 2nd leading scorer after Dirk. Again, what a damn joke.

League rule...when you throw a punch ,even if it doesn't connect, you're out for one game. With 3 seconds left in the game? What an idiot. Next time he'll think of his team first. Crying or Very sad

The Piston's are weird...they don't perform til their backs are up against the wall.Witness last year against the Heat
I wanna see Detroit and San An play a rematch...I think Detroit would win this time

That's a stupid rule. I want to see more punches, kicks, and elbows to the face, and I want it now!

I can't believe the Pistons got those three HUGE rebounds at the end and killed almost the whole last minute last night. That sucked.

I'm so sick of San Antonio and Detroit. I'd love to see them both go down. That probably isn't gonna happen though, is it? Damn.

If you don't like no-frills basketball; team-oriented, defensive-minded basketball with minimal egos and maximum effort, and you want more punching and kicking and showy BS, maybe the WWF smackdown would be more up your alley. The Pistons and Spurs are two of the best basketball teams and play some of the best straight-up basketball the world has seen for years.

No, I want basketball, with kicking, punching and flying elbows to the face. Like it was meant to be.

Basketball, the game was invented for a few reasons. One of the reasons was so that there would be a "no-contact" sport unlike football.

In Springfield, Naismith was faced with the problem of finding a sport that was suitable for play inside during the Massachusetts winter for the students at the School for Christian Workers. Naismith wanted to create a game of skill for the students instead of one that relied solely on strength. He needed a game that could be played indoors in a relatively small space. The first game was played with a soccer ball and two peach baskets used as goals.

What a game! (Pistons/Cavs)

I went to the first game 7 in my life and holy **** was it awesome! We had great seats and the atmosphere was unbelievable. I am so glad they won.

Now they get to play a team that's been resting for a week.
