Actually, your sentence is not only not correct English, it is confusing.

Do you mean:

"How long does it take you to do your homework?" (How much time does it take you to do the homework assignment?)

"How much time do you have to do your homework assignment?" (Do you have a deadline, when you have to give your homework to your teacher?)

The second one.

What is it that makes it grammatically incorrect in English? I've run it round many fora and even native speakers seem divided on its validity.
