You are much too sweet a young lady for that sort of thing but it should be something that not only cuts but is true as well.It is meant to cause offence. As soon as it is playful it ceases to be an insult.

I can stuff it up 'em if I'm provoked but I'm not easily got into that.

You can lose all your friends.

There is no way to gauge right and wrong, good or bad if you take other people out of the equation, so how do i stop myself from becoming some kind of selfish monster???

You are correct. Everything that exists is one, so you are a part of the only thing that exists. Every thought and action affects all things. So guide yourself accordingly.

As for the Pentacle Queen's....

...allow me to quote from another Queen...the Queen of Hearts:

"One can't believe impossible things," said Alice. "I daresay you haven't had much practice," responded the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast!"

I believe that Al Gore will make another run in 2008 and win by a landslide.

I believe Madonna's hymen will regenerate.

I believe that Brandon 9000 will send me flowers and candy.

I believe Baldimo will come to NC and give me free cable.

I believe Michael Jackson will finance the investigation that finally locates and leads to the conviction of the man who killed O. J.'s wife.

That's all I can believe right now, I'm hungry.

I believe in female intuition.

I think Mr Apisa was being ungentlemanly to ask a lady an impertinent question like that.

COS!!!! is the answer.(It's short for "Because I said so").

We don't want the ladies to become converted to Mr Apisa's frame of mind do we?

I hope, spendius that you are not suggesting that i am such a 'lady.'
However, I have to say that I agree with Mr Apisa, (not simply because my IQ is 80-85) and I have been meaning to ask him to his explain his theory further for a while now, and ask that if the condition above were proved absolute, how would his theory lie?

I would also like to ask:
Is your avatar a picture of you?
You do know golf is actually crap dont you?

It is good that you have solved your emotional problems for now but if you get in touch with your inner self, you will always be in control. I say that but I constantly violate the principle. Yet, there are times that I can switch from total frustraion and anger to a state of bliss in a matter of a minute.

The avatar is a processed self-portrait. I use to post an avatar that looked more like the everyday me but I put this one up for fun and since Ticoyama claims to hate it so much, I keep it.

My digital camera died, otherwise, I would update my avatar. The next one get is going to be high-end to see what I can really do.

Becoming estranged is not becoming a solipsist. How do you become a theory?

Queenie-

Mr Apisa's theory is that he is the oracle of wisdom except when he's playing golf where they have to put a flag in the hole to show him where it is.

Chrisee-

The problem with Mr Hawkins is that he's playing around with the word "know" and that he would have to know where he is etc to write the words he uses on the paper which the paper manufacturer would have to know where he is to make and the distributor of it would have to know where....Hey-you could write the longest sentence in history like this as long as you knew where the food was to keep you going.

No...it is not a radical thought to me. I've heard many other people make the same guess.

But when a person like you presents it as fact...rather than a guess...I ask how they know it.

So I ask again....you KNOW this how???

I do not know what exists...I do not know if dualism or non-dualism is the REALITY...and I do not see enough unambiguous evidence upon which to base a meaningful guess.
