@reasoning logic,
It's approaching dawn here in Australia, RL.

I'll watch it when my head is clearer.

Get back to you then. Smile

So are you making the claim that he was wrong in the first 15 minutes of his speech?

Not at all. I haven't seen your choice of vid. I don't view them. I know what they are flogging. So do you. That's why you pick them.

@spendius,
Are you claiming to be a scientist who does not use the scientific method?

@reasoning logic,
I don't know if science has got anything to do with it, but if you want to look at alternative, conspiratorial versions of history, shouldn't you make sure you understand the conventional wisdom first?

@izzythepush,
I have sat through one and a half dire hours of your conspiracy theory videos, so it's not in the least bit unscientific to assume your current flavour of the month is equally turgid, especially when it features David Icke.

You seem to be caught up in conspiracy theories!
Do you think that there are people here that believe them to be empirically true?
Is there any particular reason you keep talking about them?

@izzythepush,
Yes and your dear Christian brother Martin Luther said even less inspiring words about Galileo! Wink

You're the one that keeps on posting videos about them. I only really talk about them when I respond to your posts.

@reasoning logic,
Let me get this right, you're comparing me to Luther and David Icke to Galileo? Forget about me for a minute, do you honestly believe that David Icke (a man you have only just heard about,) should be compared to Galileo?

I can not help that many intelligent people including yourself believe in some things that are not true and it is so easy for us to see some of the false beliefs that others have and yet we are not able to see our own because of the beams that are in our own eyes.
When one believes it can often seem as reality to them but it is not always a true reality!

You don't have any idea what I believe it, you're just guessing. I do not however, believe that the queen is a shape shifting reptile, and if you're going to give serious consideration to such ridiculous nonsense, there's no point in even contemplating the Loch Ness Monster, let alone the mysteries of existence.

How many times do you have to repeat this? Have you been drinking? Drunk

I will say it again! I doubt that anyone here believes in those things.

@reasoning logic,
You said I believe in things that are not true, so give an example. I haven't been drinking, but conversation with you does make me want to reach for the bottle.

So no-one on A2K believes in the mysteries of existence? Or that there even is a mystery I suppose?

It makes me want to reach for a ballot paper to vote for closer European integration.

At least 1,000 of my posts have been countered by the assertion I was pissed.

@spendius,
I never thought you'd be pro Europe old chum, but strangely enough so am I. I can't shift the feeling that all this talk about a referendum on Europe, is just a prelude to us becoming the 51st State. If push comes to shove, I'd rather be ruled by Brussels than Washington.

@cicerone imposter,
Britain's never really seen itself as European, and there's still lots of Little Englanders who think if we leave the EU, we can reposition the Commonwealth as some major trading bloc. We can't, it would be disastrous, and any split from Europe would be far from amicable. In those circumstaces God knows what would happen.

Understandably, your economy is tied to Europe.

It was not any country in Europe that save your rear ends in two world wars.
