Can anyone help with a translation of the following latin phrase please?
De minimus non curat lex
Many thanks
The smallest law does not care for ?
There's no ablative to follow the "de" so unless it's being used in some way I don't know about, it's not a complete sentence. If it were
De minimo non curat lex
It would mean "The law does not care for (or take care of) the smallest thing."
Thanks folks
What a great site!
You're welcome, vicsfan.
Francis, that seems to be the way they say it in German law. Googling the phrase brings up a ton of German sites.
I know that, George, they have some "sui generis" expressions!
