Hi
Im trying to illustrate a Japanese influenced fashion drawing Ive done and Id like to add a Japanese quote or proverb relating to clothing.
The outfit is red and gold in a kimono style.
Any ideas will be greatly recieved.
Naisode ha furenu) -- You can't do anything with it if you don't have it (lit. A kimono without a sleeve can't be thrown around)
(Sode suriau mo tasyou no en) -- (lit. A brush of Kimono means they are in some way, destined)
These are the only two I could find.....
Domo arigato gozaimas(spelt very wrong I know but I gave it a go)
I couldnt find anything.
Im reading Katherine Hepburn quotes at the mo.
