common denominator for mass shootings

People who have mental problems are often prescribed medication. It's pretty obvious that these people had a preexisting disorder which led them to commit anti-social acts or they wouldn't have been prescribed the drugs in the first place. This blighted country is awash in firearms and prescriptions for powerful psychotropic drugs. If there were a simple causal relation between the two we'd have significantly more mass shootings than we have today.
