Pequeno como um mundo e tão grande quanto sózinho.

Not so easy...

The right translation is "Tão pequeno como um mundo e tão vasto como sozinho" (not "sózinho", we lost the ' some time ago)
The word "large" has a simple translation of "largo" (as in «wide») but it can also mean "vasto" because you wouldn't say "mundo largo" in portuguese. The world is "vasto".
This is the literal translation, but it hasn't a logical meaning in the end or it seems to me that the intended meaning is "Tão pequeno como um mundo e tão vasto como a solidão" - "as small as a world and as large as solitude". Well, the original sentence is also strange Very Happy

Nice interpretation! The lack of context often leads to a poor translation.

Think we could translate "as large as alone" in "tão vasto quão só" in which the dimension of a world could be compared with it's loneliness.

But it's just a guess...

Yes, "tão vasto quão só" or "tão vasto como só" is the best approach Smile
If the context wasn't important, online/automatic translations would actually work out Very Happy

Replacing "quão" by "quanto" works just fine and is less formal (but you may want that kind of formality...).
