Social Media is where we should be concerned when it comes the the First Amendment and the use of "Net Neutrality". The companies who actually host our data, which isn't the ISP's, are the biggest threat to Free Speech. These companies control who can and can't get their messages out and who should and shouldn't be paid for their content.

Agree. Don't forget about someone following you internet searches and records of what you've been buying online.

There are good tracker-blocker addons for most popular browsers.

I currently use:

a) Privacy Badger by the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which directly blocks my browser from communicating with tracking sites, and

b) Decentraleyes, which stores CDN data on my computer and redirects browser requests for CDN data to my hard drive, both speeding up browsing and increasing privacy at the same time.
