Will the elections bring everlasting harmony in Iraq?

I concur with Montana. Its going to be a horrible mess.

BTW, Instigate, you know how long this government is elected for and whats the format of this election?

Amazingly the Shiites (who just happen to be the majority in Iraq) have nearly 50%, but will still need to do a lot of horsetrading to make a majority. Whoever allies themselves with the Kurdistan Alliance will clean up.


Now, this is very important. This is NOT the general election for Iraq. This is just to work out the makeup of the General Assembly that will codify and then ratify the constitution AND THEN call a general election later this year.
