Rich (on the far left) and I went on this optional trek to the Tierra Major park where we slosshed through wetlands, and walked about five miles.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v97/imposter222/4optionaltrektoTierraMajor.jpg

This is one of the things we saw on our trek; a beaver dam and house.

The red parka we had to wear during our Kodiak rides and landings in Antarctica. The map remained on the spare bed in my stateroom where I tracked our cruise from Ushuaia to South Georgia to Coronation Island to Hope Bay/Esperanza Base to Elephant Island to Cape Horn, and back to Ushuaia. We cruised 2,880 miles. The cap (as if I needed one more) says "Antarctica, EARTH'S LAST FRONTIER."

C.i., you are truly amazing! I wouldn't have recovered from the Antarctica trip yet but here you are ready to go again. I'm panting just thinking about it.

Once again, your photos are magnificent. The one showing the ocean leading up to a mountainous area is my idea of a religious experience and I'm not religious.

c.i., maybe you answered this at the beginning of the thread (and I should just go back and look Cool ) but what kind of a digital camera are you using to get such glorious photos?
