This is a very important picture. It's a picture of Stromness Harbor where Shakleton and his two men hiked to from the other side of the island over mountain peaks over 1800m. This will be my last picture for today.

You've been posting some great pictures, CI, but I'm a little concerned about the one above. If that's you in the photo and Elmer Fudd ever finds out you stole his hat, there could be trouble.
Give it back, CI. Give it back.

Actually, that guy wearing that hat was our tour director, and he lives in Argentina, so he should be safe - relatively, that is!

Cool Pics CI, thanks
They look just like the pics from the OMNI movie on Shackelton. Some of those might even be the exact same places. Imaging that. Almost unchanged from nearly a hundred years ago.

Glad you're back, safe & sound, CI. I'm so pleased to see your pictures. I particularly liked the sleeping giants of the Three Brothers and that iceberg was superb. The street scene was very interesting -- it is possible to see larger versions of any of the pictures?
Thanks for sharing.

Oh c.i., you managed to capture the luminous sky in the pic of the iceberg. Gorgeous! All of them are extraordinary. Can't wait for more.
Good thing there weren't any sled dogs on this thread. LOL
