How's the progress with Fury, jjorge?

Msolga
I thought my candid confession might generate a quick, painless
absolution . . .

. . . isn't that what we procrastinators fantasize about . . .to be magically relieved of our commitments and obligations?

Meanwhile my supply of flimsy excuses is running dangerously low . . .

OK, then jjorge, I'm gonna let you off the Fury hook!
You are free NOT to read it! You & Fury were not meant to be!
Remember, reading is for pleasure & this isn't doing the trick for you.
OK, put it away now get get out your favourite poems .... There, doesn't that feel better? Very Happy

Yes, I did finish that one...now working on another for tomorrow at five...Smile...writing one poem in the 'Romantic' style and one 'Victorian' one. I'm just using some old poems of mine that seem to fit the question. So technically all that's left is 750 words on why I wrote them the way I did!

Smile

I feel for you BillW. I thought I loved having a house. We had a big yard, with about 20,000 square feet reserved for a vegetable/flower garden. It still took about two hours each week (after the boy's soccer games) to mow it.

Every once in awhile I miss having fresh flowers..... so I go to the corner and get a two dozen for $10.00

Maybe it will rain until it's too late to get started. Laughing

Can't say much about taxes!

As for today, nothing really... Smile

I have been procrastinating about pressure washing the porch for two weeks. I will continue to do so today though maybe I should wheedle my S.U. into helping. I foolishly asked him not to do it himself because for the last two years he has damaged my garden since he won't set out tarps to protect the plants. More tender shoots, fragile flowers, etc. are coming up every day.

WHY didn't I do this two weeks ago??

(Because I don't like the noise, I guess, or maybe the huge mess... wet tarps... ugh.)

Been intending to respond to this thread since it first appeared but never got around to it. I've needed a haircut quite some time now. Don't know when I'll get to it.

Your tagline made me SMILE. Very Happy

I wonder how many A2Kers remember hearing George Feniman say those lines every week?

For that matter I wonder how many A2Kers have ever seen a DeSoto?

PS If I say the secret word will I win a hundred dollars?

Now that I think of it, those were Groucho's words not Feniman's.

I saw a DeSoto driving down a city street about two months ago. It looked all original.
