Glass block surprisingly easy to install
Tile was a bitch to lay out.
A hair care niche for various bottles
Had to buy a wet saw for the diamond cuts.
Saw was cheap $59.00
The vanity, sink and mirror were a set.$299.00 at Home Depot.
Very nice quality
The project's looking good.
Waiting for the grand finale.
Was there a hmmmmmmmmm warming ceremony?
Hee Hee
sure eh. Both of us stripped down scrubbing the grout film off the tile
Oolala! Love the glass block window. I'm so impressed that you did this all yourself, panzade. Keep those pictures coming.
My time on this stage is almost up. Have to get ready to go entertain the cowboys but I'll be back at 3 am to post the finished product pics
Oh good, they'll be waiting for me when I get up then. Have a great show, panz.
Curtain is temporary til we get a sliding shower door
I liked the 8x8 tiles for the color they added.
I decided on the oversized base trim to match the plinth blocks on the door
That just about wraps it up folks. Thank you for staying through the show...
If anybody is thinking of doing their own remodel I'll be glad to share my experience.
Judging by the trim, the baseboards, and the door, I would say your house was built somewhere in the late 20's or early 30''s. Would I be correct?
nice work, Panzade.
I was hoping to see the floor. <nodding> It all works so well together.
Glass blocks interest me. I'm not sure I've ever seen them on an exterior wall round here. I like it.
Great job! I like the look you chose for the vanity, like a peice of furniture.

Damn Gus.You have an unerring eye. That style was in vogue in the 20's but it's actually all new trim I installed to get that look. I ripped out all that 80's clamshell crap.
