We continue to produce more greenhouse gases than the earth sequesters.
The concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere therefore goes up.
therefore more heat is trapped and remains in the earth and the atmosphere. Therefore the temperature goes up.
Te temperature keeps rising.

no data is ignored because a theory is a system of evidence in which all the evidence supports and NONE of the evidence refutes. Thats the problem with science deniers. They are the ones who try to ignore the obvious evidence. Science see where it fits, if no fit, modify the theory and incorporate the data.
