(I edited my post, ehbeth, to get you out of Boston).
RJB - (have I asked this before.....?) do you watch high-ranking games?
yes, I do, littek, and I definitely picked up some of the more obscure words that are played in difficult situations. I saw one game where almost none of the words were recognizable to me but they were cleverly used by the experts at this game.
I reckon that the only reason I keep playing is that most of the folks at my skill level stick to words that are, for the most part, in our vocabulary.
Spoken, written or perhaps in crossword puzzles we try to solve.
I was thinking that you could watch how they played the words, not which words they played.
Beth just played a neck-to-neck game which she won by 1 point. But, bethie, you missed SQUIRE off the S in SEX for 68 points.
I hate back seat drivers....
kris, I wanna apologize for pulling your leg about Green Day's new song. It was a silly stunt.
Here, give me a good kick.
Like I said...I'll never tease you again...well...
So ehbeth didn't end up having sex with the squire?
RJB, nope, sadly, she missed that.
hi, I lost my first game tonight, but that was cool. Lost to gus, one of my favorite characters on A2K.
I paid more attention to his comments than to the game. Did you yall know that he doesn't actually have a tractor. Did you yall know that he is in the witness protection program because of his links to the mafia? And once, perhaps, in 1973, when I was hitchiking through Texas, he wanted to give me a lift but his girlfriend was driving and she was so stoned that she couldn't find the brake pedal.
It was worth another loss.
You didn't mention the part about my girlfriend hitting her head on the bottom of the steering wheel when I was pulling over to pick you up, realjonboy
Don't even begin to tell me that you've never had sex with a squire, Beth.
I know you too well.
<whistles>

Who ya going to poke gus?
