Well, panzade killed me, 305 to 173. I succeeded in passing until he ran out of time, but he definitely chewed me up and spit me out.

Oof won one game but I think the guy forfeited so, eek, it doesn't show on my standings. But it's fun, very addictive and I'd really better stop before it eats up the five minutes of free time I have during the week.

Hey, fellow Scrabble remedials. It's not your fault! I went over my friend's house yesterday and they had the Scrabble out. I looked at the Scrabble dictionary they had. It's a bunch of horseshit! Every other word in it is simply not a real word! No wonder I'm getting pummelled every game. I've been trying to put words down that actually exist!

The jig--or, as it's probably spelled in the Scrabble dictionary, "jigghe" is UP!

It's a strange dictionary...I've put down real words that were deemed invalid Shocked

You can also note that you can use just about any vulgar word you can think of Twisted Evil

Since I seem to mutter any variety of vulgar expletives...so noted.

Willow has it set up so the board won't accept invalid words. Very useful for a beginner like me.

I was just watching colorbook's match and have a question. Is it commonplace to get away with words such as "Qat" and Suq"?

Do people never challenge?

On planet Scrabble they are legit. The american version of the scrabble dictionary says that any foreign word where there is no english equivalent is acceptable.
I alter my game depending on who I play. If I play qat on my sister in law, I get arsenic in my pancakes the next morning.
