The emblem for our village is an oak tree and the local soccer team would like to have a Latin motto to their team badge. We quite like "The oak tree never bends" I could have a stab but we don't want to look stupid if a Latin scholar turns up one day with the opposition and tells us our motto means "Can't play for toffee". Any suggestions please?

Quercus numquam flectit.

I don't know the Latin for "but our banana kicks do".

That's amazing George, many, many thanks. (If you can work on the banana kicks too that would go down a storm!)
