God is a spirit over nature and the universe. Yet God chooses to be a part of humanity. God chooses himself to suffer to give us an opportunity to help. Not to judge humans but to get them to stop ruining their lives and looking on the mess proudly. God does not dole out punishments as you imagine. That's Zeus. Now, I could with effort look up your assertion, but since you've never given me any trust, the most I'll offer is a five minute search, which gives a dictionary definition of abuzz and an Abuzz Insurance.

So you say that because your god loves the children of people who "do right by it"...it is okay for your god to curse the children of people who do not do right by it. And to curse their children's children and their children's children's children and their children's children's children's children.

I will tell you something.

I am ordained clergy from a fundamentalist Christian "cult". ...and when I met Frank almost 20 years ago I was like you are. Frank and I dualed and rattled sabers for years almost every day on a site called, ABuzz, before this one.

I explained to Frank how every scripture was written by God and blah blah blah. Every day I presented the same old arguments that you are trying to pass off as truth. This is why you can't fool a fool. I was exceedingly better at it than both of you are.

Almost 20 years later I am so VERY thankful to Frank and others for saving me from this religious maze.

Now, I am free and happy, thanks to Frank and others who dared to speak out against my "certainty" and I no longer have to try and defend horse **** every day like you are trying to do. I no longer have to kowtow to an impossible, hateful and moronic idea of a God.

Your answers become more and more ridiculous over time and you become less and less human and more deceitful and self-deluded with each word. All based upon silliness.

Eventually you will have to look into the mirror and see the hateful person this book has turned you into. A jigsaw puzzle of a person, a fake paper thin vista and a fractured heart.

Somewhere inside is the child of the Earth that was robbed of its birthright by religious fanatics. Find this child and reclaim your place in the natural order of things before that person is lost forever. Robbed at the cradle by a ridiculous and melicious fable.

There is freedom in the reality of what you truly are and with the eyes of this child you will look back and know the simple and honest truth that you have been blinded from seeing.

And the truth SHALL make you free.

It is just not the truth you have been enticed to accept.

There may very well be a God, I don't know. I am convinced that the Bible is not some perfect road map to this God.

Clear sightedness and independent thinking have shown me a more perfect way to holiness.

Take from it what is good... charity, goodness, kindness, hope, love, grace, and ditch the rest. Suddenly you will find a world of others who are like-minded whom before you did not even notice.

They are your real family. They will welcome you back into the reality of what you were before this damage was done.

You will be free to think, see and criticize truth without having to swallow things without reasonable consideration. You will become self actualized and that is the person you really are.

My words will stand as a testament and your actions will decide if you remain enslaved or reach out for emancipation.

Yep. Many of us were. Abuzz was a truly great forum, before a few people decided to make it gross. At that time, I thought forums were all polite places where people went for intelligent conversations. When the change to hatred and anger started, I was shocked.

It was crazy. Rogertc1 actually posted my address, gave the names of my children and wife, posted a picture of my front door and threatened to pop up one day, knock on my door and shoot me in the face.

The Austin PD had no idea on how to treat this.

Once NYT and the Boston Sun decided to quit supporting the site, it went to **** in what seemed like weeks. I spent time trying to see if I could "buy" Abuzz.
